One way to enjoy many of the foods you love without ingesting many of the food preservatives, emulsifiers, and stabilizers that your body doesn’t love is to “process” the food at home. If you can’t afford a high-end, full-service, in-home food processor like KitchenAid that is made with stainless steel parts but can cost more than $1,500 for all its attachments (including a cheese grater), then getting individual food processor gadgets made with BPA-free plastic will still produce tremendous health benefits at a more affordable price point. One of the primary indicators of the chronic illness process is inflammation, leading to environmental sensitivities and allergies. Believe it or not, 90% of the dust in your home comes from dead skin, unless you have pets, and then it’s mostly pet hair and dander, too! Yuck. If you find yourself sneezing when you are home, skip the allergy meds (there’s a time and place for those, but try this first) and start doing some more regular vacuuming. Water is one of the most abundant molecules we put into our bodies, and not all water is created equal. This absolutely clear, no-weight, spray-on sunscreen with no bad-for-you chemicals is our family FAVORITE! There is NO white film, NO oily residue, NO chemicals that cause sensitive skin like ours to toughen or build a rash with repeated use… NOTHING that we don’t love about it. Australian Gold’s Botanical and Mineral 50 SPF version prevents my husband’s white-to-lobster skin from turning red, no matter how long we are in the sun. It also means no sunburns for my red-haired child! That’s a WIN.

Depending on the life season in which you find yourself, you may want to support your body with different supplements.
